KGO has multiple stone quarries from which we distribute an extensive line of rock and stone products  These products have wide use throughout the landscape and construction industries.  All rock and stone mined from the quarries is a very hard quartzite with colors ranging through the gray and earth tone spectrums.  The rock strata is very linear resulting in sharp lines and well-defined shapes.

PATIO FLAGSTONE
1" minus, 1" - 2" and 2" - 3" patio stone are all available from KGO. The hardness of the quartzite rock provide a product that does not easily fragment or delaminate after installation regardless of hard use.  With the grays and earth tones colors, the installed product is of great beauty.

LEDGE STONE
The ledge from our quarry is strongly sought after by masons because of its flat lines and rich grays and earth tone colors.  Because it is quartzite it does not have a tendency to delaminate or crack after application and the appearance created
when installed lasts indefinitely.

KGO has an abundance of big blockies and oversize ledge.  The strata produces excellent form and shape as evident in our photo.  Applications for this product line are retaining walls, feature walls, and masonry uses in the construction industry.

STEPS AND RISERS
The rock formations in Solid Rock Quarries have a very linear strata.  The result is clean, sharp, well defined lines for steps, risers, treads and plates.  The colors run throughout the gray spectrum with some interspersed earth tones.

FEATURE ROCK
This category of rock displays the full range of rich gray color.  With exceptionally hard quartzite features each stone is clear and well defined. In some instances there will be a shading of rich earth tones with gray still being the predominant rock color.  The quality of this product is so good they are in constant demand by other quarries for resale purposes.
