| 1. How do I use construction Glass ? What are its applications ?
Our construction glass has limitless uses. Many if our end users have used it for swimming pool plaster application, our glass is tumbled with no sharp edges, conventional pool construction with added glass as an aggregate will give your pool added pizzazz, the only added step at the end is polishing the glass, removing high spots but also adding the brilliance that glass demands. Other users have had great success with the ever popular concrete counter tops, bathroom accents on flooring, walls and backsplashes. Mosaics, water features including fountains of all sizes. Properly placed lighting adds dramatic second looks ! 2. Can I use your glass for Terrazzo applications ? Absolutely. Terrazzo installers employ techniques to expose marble chips and other aggregates , the same is done with our glass. As an added aggregate, our glass can easily be used in any application, including but not limited to floors, patios, walkways, exposed panels or walls, backsplashes or decorative countertops. Different shapes can be achieved so a medallion or sharp curves are not a problem, single colors or mixed combinations. 3. Is your glass sharp or jagged ? Nope. Our glass goes through a rigorous tumbling process that makes it the envy of its predecessor. There are no sharp edges or jagged corners, also no flat ends. Our glass is semi round in shape, super smooth. 4. Is it safe in my salt or fresh water aquarium ? Yes. You will be adding resort like treatment for the fish, incredible color combinations will let you and your buddies enjoy never before seen reflections of lights and the aqua flora. The glass will also lend itself to creating beneficial bacterium growth, similarly to what the gravels do. The glass will not absorb or release toxics for the fishies ! 5. Is your glass safe for indoor fire place or outdoor fire bowl or fire pits ? Yes. A little chemistry, while glass has about a 2500 degree F melting point, your fireplace or fire bowl and outside fire pit will not reach those high levels of temperature. Our commercial grade glass, ultra modern fire places, circulating air, thermostat controlled temps will not allow those temperatures to take place. Not even outside where more air circulates throughout. 6. What’s the coverage I need for my fireplace ? From our biased point of view, the more the merrier. Really though, an average fireplace will end up using about 50-60 lbs. It will also depend on your personal view, how thick or how high you want the glass to be. 7. Snap, crackle, pop ? Soot, Ashes and smoke alerts ? Our glass will not melt, degrade or emit toxic fumes. No soot, and no ash and no smoke. No popping embers to worry about, it’s so safe that you can actually remove those view impairments we call doors and screens. Provided you act upon due diligence with a few safety factors, don’t leave anyone unable to take care of themselves alone and as always never leave a fire unattended. 8. How is shipping handled ? We try to make it as simple as possible. 50 lbs or 10 lbs. We shipped them via FedEx or UPS, your account or ours. One bag, two bags or a full truck load, we have also done what is known as LTL, short for less than a truckload. A truck load also is given enormous discounted rates. Most economical ends up being a ground shipping common carrier, if you so desire next day as well as two day is available, but it will cost ya.
